Provide underwater commercial diving services for
Sherwin Alumina Company (formerly Reynolds Metals Company) at their Corpus
Christi, TX facility. Scope of work included making underwater repairs
to piles supporting Trestle 'B' and the finger pier at Dock 90 by thoroughly
cleaning the piles, encasing the piles with corrosion-free fiberglass jackets,
and then injecting epoxy grout into the annulus between the pile and the
fiberglass jacket. Other piles were wrapped with high-density polyethylene
(HDPE) jackets without epoxy injection. |
